Chapter 3 Blog Question

Taking it easy and doing things that make you feel good about yourself, I think is important for recovering from any disappointment.  Taking it easy helps to relieve ourselves from the bad situation we are in and enable us to think sharper, therefore being able to get the whole view of the situation. Other than taking it easy on yourself, thinking positive is also important. If anyone were to look at the bad side of things, it would cause there to be more doubt. That in turn gets the person nowhere. Therefore, it is important for us to think positive of everything that comes by. Anyway, if we were to doubt or not, and if the outcome is still the same, why should we doubt? Another method of handling disappointment that I would do is to tell myself that I can get over the situation and it would not last forever. If anyone with the mindset that will never change, the outcome cannot change either. It is because we know there is still hope that we are able to get out of our disappointment. Writing in journals, doing something creative, going for a walk or talking to someone to healthily express our emotions is yet another way to get rid of disappointment. Even though I may not use this method often, I think that it is a good way of getting rid of bottled up stress and negative thoughts and everyone, not just the disappointed, should do and that I should try myself. Writing down one good thing a day or as many as possible helps us to know all the good things that people have done for us. This helps us to look on the bright side of life. Abram
