Chapter four (ODS)

What can you learn or take away from each of the eight chapters? Please consider information from the spotlight articles associated with the corresponding chapters.

I have learnt that we have to love life as it is. There is no use admiring other people when you cannot find the good about yourself. Learn to take life as it is and take it bravely, because while you are admiring others, someone else might be admiring you. Remember that you are one out of the whole universe, there is no one like you. However, we all have red blood, people can understand your feelings, even animals. You got to understand that what you do to others, somehow, it goes back to you. I have learnt that some things are by accident and cannot be blamed. Somethings are just meant to be forgotten and sometimes, moving on with life is the best choice. Being sad not only will not change the past and you only hurt yourself in the process. Mistakes all just part of life. Being kind will have its good and we should all try to be kind. Cherish those around you because if one day you cannot find them, you will start to regret.

  1. Your response is honest and meaningful to you. I think you have some mature ideas about how to live life.

In terms of this answer being a response to the blog question, it does answer it in part, in that you made a general response to the articles. To answer this question systematically, you would have to go through each article and look at how it deals with loss. Each article deals with loss in a different manner or at least deals with a different type of loss. What the question is trying to do is to make you identify the main theme or main idea behind the poem or prose.
